Our friends at WisconsinEye, have online interviews with over 100 candidates running for statewide election races.  In Wisconsin, the first statewide election is a Partisan Primary on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.  These votes determine who will run in the general election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.   Offices on the ballot are Governor, U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative, odd-numbered Wisconsin State Senate seats, and all Wisconsin Assembly seats.

“No other media organization in the state offers this level of coverage,” said WisconsinEye president Jon Henkes. “These are long-form, probing interviews in which candidates elaborate their political philosophy and position on a number of important issues facing Wisconsin. Our commitment is to help voters evaluate the merits of the candidates’ positions based on much more than sound bites and 30-second campaign ads.”

Veteran journalist and WisconsinEye senior producer Steve Walters conducted all interviews, held in Green Bay, Marshfield, Eau Claire, Milwaukee, Madison, and Sturtevant.
