5NINES has been helping clients enjoy technology by providing rock solid Internet and Data Center Services to small and medium-size businesses. Unlike the big box service providers, we actually have an office where you can find us at in Madison!

5NINES was started in 2001 with three people and an idea to bring tech support to local companies. For 18 years, they stayed true to that promise and expanded services to include VOIP, internet, Cloud VPS hosting, web development, Cybersecurity and a commercial data center to over 200 local businesses. 

In 2020, they scaled back to do what they do best – Data Center and Internet Services.  To take care of their customers IT needs, they partnered with Madison-based Applied Tech, a thriving managed service company, and one we respect and highly recommend!  Their cybersecurity consulting practice was formed into a new company called CyberNINES, also based in Madison with offices in Minnesota, California and Connecticut.  And lastly, their web development team started a new company called Design.Garden, one we still support and utilize.

Effective October 1, 2023, the 5NINES team entered into an agreement with ResTech Services of Madison, WI, to acquire 5NINES Internet, Data Center, and VoIP business lines, marking a strategic move to strengthen our combined position in the technology and managed IT services industry.

This acquisition represents a pivotal moment in our company’s journey and opens up numerous opportunities for growth, innovation, and an expanded suite of services for our family of customers.

While the faces behind 5NINES have changed, we still love technology and will continue to focus on delivering the best Internet and data center services in Madison and beyond.
