Mar 11, 2020; As you have probably heard, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared Coronavirus (COVID-19) a global pandemic.  To prepare our company, employees, and clients for any disruptions this may cause, 5NINES has developed a COVID-19 Action Plan that is part of our Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

We are following the recommendations from our local Dane County/City of Madison Health Department (Dane County Public Health – Coronavirus) as well as the U.S. Center for Disease Control.  Our preparedness plan includes a remote work policy to meet the health department’s recommendation for “social distancing”.  We are fully prepared to allow employees the ability to work from home and will implement the plan in the near future.  We do not believe this will affect our ability to service any technical needs our customers may have.

During this period when our employees are working from home, we will use multiple communication and collaboration tools including phones, email, chat, Virtual In/Out Board, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, ConnectWise and daily mandatory team conference calls.

All technical support requests will first be addressed remotely during this period.  If required, we can definitely schedule an on-site visit.  Customers needing escort access to our Data Center should continue to follow the normal procedure of calling us to schedule an appointment.

If you are interested in learning more about our BCP or about remote workability for your company, please let us know.  We would be happy to tell you how we are doing it and we are more than willing to help you implement any necessary tools to facilitate a work from home process.
